Spicy Garlic Grilled Bone-in Skin-on (Split) Chicken Breast

5 minute prep and 30 minute grilling time equals a great tasting lunch. I always try to cook without going shopping for "special" ingredients.

Unlike my previous post, I added a little spice.

Close to a 5 but there are just so many ways to do a split chicken breast.

Notes: Adjust the cayenne to adjust the heat. I did a 1/2 tsp since I'm a wimp. If you didn't know, garlic salt is a mixture of salt and garlic powder in a 3:1 ratio.


What you will need.
Preheat grill on high, clean and oil. Trim chicken breast of any fat and extra skin. Split in half.
Mix all spices in small bowl. Sprinkle on the chicken including all sides.
Grill over medium heat flipping every 4-6 minutes until internal temperature of 165. About 30 minutes.

2 bone-in skin-on chicken breast (AKA split chicken breast)1 T Kosher salt1 t garlic powder1/2 t pepper1/2-1 t cayenne pepper
