A fast side with a little bite. About 5 minutes prep and 8-9 minutes on the grill as your main course is finishing up.

Notes: The 1/4 t of cayenne was a touch to much for us, so we will cut to 1/8 t next time.

Tools: Grill proof pan with solid bottom

Ingredients
1 lb fresh trimmed green beans
1 small to medium red onion cut into petals and seperated
2 T pre-minced garlic or 4-6 cloves of garlic minced
2 T oil- Not EV olive oil - use regular olive oil or vegetable oil
1/2 t salt
1/4 t black pepper
1/8 - 1/4 t cayenne pepper

Instructions:
1) Toss all ingredients together in a mixing bowl.
2) Prep a grill pan with a small amount of oil or Grill Pam. This should be one that has a solid bottom not a mesh type.

3) Place over direct low heat about 10 minutes before needed. Stir at about 5 minutes. Cook until beans are starting to brown.

oh this looks good! I love grilled green beens but the onions and cayenne are a fantastic way to kick up a basic meal of grilled chicken or pork chops!
