Fresh Spinach Salad - summer favorite
This is a rescue mission. You are looking at the only copy of a long time family favorite.
Fresh spinach salad, a simple and wonderful compliment to almost any summer fare.
Rating 9.5 always. You can not mess this up.
Tools: Nothing special but a Tupperware gravy mixer is good.
Ingredients
1 lb spinach cleaned4 hard boiled eggs
1/2 lb bacon
1 can bean sprouts
1 can sliced water chestnuts
1 medium onion chopped (optional and we never do this)
Dressing
1/3 c ketchup
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup oil (vegetable or olive)
1 T Worcestershire sauce
3 T vinegar
1 t salt
Instructions:
2) Slice hard boiled eggs
3) Combine all non-dressing ingredients and toss well
4) Combine all dressing components and mix well
5) Serve with dressing on the side.

It wasn't the only copy, I had mom e-mail that to me years ago and I still have it printed out in my kitchen. But yes rescue missions are good here.
No, no. He meant the only copy on a card. I pulled it out of the recipe box and the thing felt like it was going to fall apart in my hands!
