Tools: Grill proof pan
Ingredients: (scale to what you need)
1/2 lb asparagus (perfect for two)
2 T olive oil
Salt
1 heaping T crushed garlic (I used pre-crushed to simplify but fresh is OK)
Instructions:
1) Wash and trim asparagus.2) Place in grill proof pan and sprinkle with about 2 T olive oil. Mix with your hands.
3) Sprinkle top with the crushed garlic and a small amount of course salt
4) Again mix by hand.
5) Place on grill over high heat. Cook for 3 minutes. Mix after about 2 minutes. Mine was thin so thicker asparagus may require 1 minute more. DO NOT OVER COOK.
6) Remove from pan to serving dish and using spatula remove any cooked garlic in pan and place on top of dish.
